Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New words & Phrases
You'll get to know some common Chinese female and male names. Our teacher will introduce some words and expressions to use when asking names and how to respond, including the titles in Mandarin to address a person appropriately.
Main Course (30 mins) - Now, Let's Practice
Our teacher will guide you into role-plays through carefully designed dialogues. You'll practice with some tailored lines with others and receive instant feedback on your pronounication. You'll feel comfortable addressing a Chinese appropriately. No more stress on this matter when sending emails!
Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions
Are titles important in Chinese culture? Would someone get offended if you addressed the wrong title? What are the differences in Canada? Let’s discuss and share your experiences to help each other avoid awkward situations!
