In this session, we’ll work with you to practice simple dialogues that you can use with these special numbers. Some interesting games and videos will also be shared in this part. Meanwhile you can enhance your Mandarin vocabulary and cultural understanding together.
Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions
Dive into the cultural beliefs behind numbers like 6,8 and 4 in China. Discuss how these beliefs impact Chinese daily life and how numbers are used strategically in business and marketing in China. We will also discover the preferred amounts for red envelopes (hongbao) during special occasions like weddings and Chinese New Year.
