In today's hectic world, health is more important than ever, leading many to incorporate exercise into their daily routines. Traditional Chinese sports remain cherished while modern sports are popular. We will delve into the unique characteristics and practices of these traditional Chinese sports.

About the event

Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New Words & Phrases

To kick off, each student will share their regular exercise routines, including the sports they participate in, where they engage in them, and their frequency. We will then delve into the distinctive features of various traditional Chinese sports, such as shuttlecock kicking, Tai Chi, and kite flying.

Main Course (30 mins) - Now, Let's Practice

Each student will select a traditional Chinese sport that piques their interest and share details about where they typically engage in this activity, how frequently they practice it, and the perceived benefits.

Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions

During the open discussion segment, we will explore how certain Olympic events have evolved from traditional sports. Additionally, students are encouraged to introduce a traditional sport from a country with which they are familiar.
