Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New Words & Phrases

We will learn a brief history of Chinese painting. You will see some famous Chinese artworks representing different styles, such as traditional ink wash, landscape, and contemporary art. We will learn new words and phrases related to these styles and time periods, such as "山水画" (landscape painting), "工笔画" (meticulous painting), and "现代艺术" (modern art). This segment aims to build your vocabulary and provide context for understanding the rich tradition of Chinese painting.

Main Course (30 mins) - Now, Let's Practice

We will explore Chinese painting in various ways: What materials do Chinese artists use, such as rice paper, brushes, and ink? What subjects do they usually draw or paint, like nature, animals, and human figures? What are the meanings behind these paintings, such as symbolism and cultural significance?
