About the Event
Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New Words & Phrases
First, we will compare the popular professions in China from the past and the present. Students can discuss the pros and cons of each profession and analyze the reasons why they think these professions are popular.During this process, we will learn some vocabulary related to professions.
Main Course (30 mins) - Now, Let's Practice
The teacher will use a drawing method to have each student pick a profession to introduce. You need to explain whether you think this profession is an ideal job and briefly analyze its advantages and disadvantages. If there are fewer participants, the teacher will ask each student to draw two to three professions to introduce.
Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions
In the discussion session, the teacher will ask students with work experience to share whether the jobs they have done are ideal professions and explain why. Students without work experience can talk about what their ideal job is, and summarize the factors you believe influence the attractiveness of a job.
