About the Event
Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New Words & PhrasesWe’ll start by comparing popular professions in China, past and present. Students will discuss the pros and cons of each profession and analyze why they think these jobs are popular. During this activity, we'll learn vocabulary related to professions.
Main Course (30 mins) - Let's PracticeThe teacher will have students select a profession using a drawing method. Each student will introduce their chosen profession, explaining whether they think it’s an ideal job and briefly analyzing its advantages and disadvantages. If there are fewer participants, students will introduce two or three professions.
Dessert (30 mins) - Open DiscussionsIn this session, students with work experience will share whether their past jobs were ideal and explain why. Students without work experience can discuss their ideal job and summarize the factors that make a job attractive.
