This session introduces countries, languages, and language-learning experiences. Students will learn key vocabulary and sentence structures to discuss nationality and languages spoken, while building confidence through practice and group discussion in basic Mandarin communication.

By the end of this session, students will be able to:
Identify and use vocabulary related to countries and languages
Ask and answer questions about nationality and languages spoken
Use sentence structures such as “你是哪国人？” and “你会说什么语言？”
Share basic language-learning experiences in Mandarin
Build confidence communicating about personal background in everyday conversations
