About the Event
By the end of this session, students will be able to:
Identify and pronounce the vocabulary for year (年), month (月), date/day of the month (日 or 号), and days of the week (星期) in Mandarin.
Construct correct Mandarin date expressions by combining year, month, and day.
Ask and answer questions about dates using simple Mandarin sentence patterns.
State the dates of their birthdays clearly and accurately in Mandarin.
Name and describe important Chinese traditional holidays (e.g., 春节, 中秋节) using proper date expressions.
