Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New Words & Phrases
We will start with the words you need to know when ordering food in a hot pot restaurant, including sizes of the pots, spicy levels, types of soup base, and some popular food. Also, we will learn the phrase “I want something” and practice it with those words.
Main Course (30 mins) - Now, Let's Practice
After learning the words and phrases needed, it’s time for everyone to do a role-play. The host (teacher) will act as a waitress, and all the participants need to order their own pots with the food they love.
Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions
Hot pot is such a popular food in China, but do you know that people from different regions of the country actually have different preferences about flavors and foods when eating hot pot? Let’s discuss more in detail.
