Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New Words & Phrases
This session will kick off with a refresher of bubble tea-related words and dialogues. We'll then dive into Mandarin for ordering bubble tea, equipping you with basic phrases and pronunciation. You'll also have the chance to practice these dialogues in groups. Next, we'll enjoy a short video presentation on Chinese fortune stick culture, expanding our understanding of this intriguing tradition.
Main Course (30 mins) - Now, Let's Practice
The highlight of this session is the visit to a local bubble tea shop. You'll have the opportunity to order your own bubble tea in Mandarin, putting your newly acquired language skills to use. Additionally, we'll explore the world of Chinese fortune sticks by trying them in the shop, adding a unique cultural touch to our experience.
Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions
To wrap up this session, we'll open the floor for discussions and questions, all while savoring our delicious bubble tea. Share your thoughts, experiences, or anything related to Chinese culture as we come together for a delightful conclusion.
