  • Use common Chinese New Year greetings and festive expressions appropriately

  • Understand key cultural dos and don’ts at a Chinese New Year fair

  • Explain the cultural meaning behind common New Year traditions

  • Participate confidently in Chinese New Year fair activities using simple Mandarin
