Talking About Family in Chinese

By the end of this session, students will be able to:

• Identify and use common Mandarin vocabulary for family members and relatives

• Use basic sentence structures (e.g., 我家有…, …是…, 多大?) to describe family relationships

• Ask and answer simple questions about family and age in Mandarin

• Recognize key cultural differences between Chinese and English family terms

• Understand basic Chinese family roles and cultural values
