Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New words & Phrases
Let’s talk about numbers in Mandarin! You'll learn how to count and use your hand gestures to express numbers too. A brief introduction to the Chinese number system will be given. You’ll master ten Chinese characters of numbers and steal the secret of why Chineses think arithmetic is so easy.
Main (30 mins) - Now, Let’s Practice!
Our teacher will work with you to practice how to ask and give your phone number using the numbers 1-10. You'll master the patterns of how to say numbers in digits, tens, hundreds, thousands, millions and etc. Who said writing Chinese characters is impossible? You can now take home a whole sheet of Chinese character writing to show off! Bonus! Now you can also tell the time in Mandarin!
Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions
Challenge yourself with a Chinese tongue twister to master the numbers, and crack the hard nut in Mandarin pronunciation! Learning Mandarin is fun and easy. You can do it! A brief introduction to the Mandarin phonetic system and character writing will be discussed too.
