Appetizer (30 mins) - Introduction to New Words & Phrases

We begin by exploring the diverse ways different social groups approach drinking. Drinking serves various purposes, each carrying distinct social and cultural implications. In this section, we delve into the practices of drinking across different social settings.

Main Course (30 mins) - Now, Let's Practice

We delve into the unique rituals and etiquettes associated with drinking in China. This includes understanding approriate behavior in a drinking setting, such as initating a round of drinks, the words used in toasts, the gestures invovled in toasting, and other pertinent details. 

Dessert (30 mins) - Open Discussions

We engage in a case study where we imagine various scenarios and discuss the expected behavior when it comes to drinking. Students are encouraged to share how they would behave if tey were part of these scenarios, fosterig an open and interactive discussion.
